Jun 10 D Anton Volchenkov becomes a UFA on July 1, and Senators GM Bryan Murray has talked to a couple teams about moving his rights before that date. It's believed the Capitals and Rangers are most interested. Volchenkov, who turned down the Senators' five-year, $20-million offer after the Olympics, has put his Ottawa house up for sale.
Chicago is also looking to deal Kris Versteeg, Andrew Ladd and D Brian Campbell to clear more cap space.
