Genau. Das und die Veterean-Rolle in der Kabine.
Die Rolle von Lappy (mal vom PK abgesehen) übernimmt nun vermutlich Shelley

Allerdings ist Lappys Verletzung fürs PK wirklich bitter, da mit ihm und Betts nun die erste Formation raus ist.

Semyon Varlamov on IR

The Capitals announced Varlamov has been placed on injured reserve retroactive to his last appearance of the preseason on Sept. 22 and is eligible to be activated at any time.
As of early this afternoon, though, Coach Bruce Boudreau wasn't sure what the plan would be but did reveal Varlamov probably would not be ready this weekend.

"We'll consider anything," Boudreau said about the possibility of playing Neuvirth on back-to-back nights.
"A lot depends on how he plays Friday." Meaning it could be Dany Sabourin starting on Saturday. (Washington Post)


Carey Price Sick

Carey Price did not practice because of the flu. It is unknown whether he will be recovered enough to start Thursday's game against the Leafs. Jacques Martin says he has full confidence in Alex Auld if Price is not ready to go. (Habs Insideout)
